This is a field-intensive leadership role requiring strong expertise in merchant lending, consumer credit, and on-ground sales execution. The role focuses on expanding merchant credit penetration, optimizing portfolio quality, and driving profitability at the city level.Key Responsibilities- Lead and grow the Merchant Credit B2C business across designated cities and regions. - Drive end-to-end field operations including merchant acquisition, onboarding, and credit disbursal. - Develop and execute credit strategies, policies, and risk frameworks for the B2C merchant segment. - Work closely with Product, Risk, Tech, and Operations to create scalable merchant credit solutions. - Track and monitor KPIs such as portfolio growth, delinquency, retention, and overall city performance. - Ensure adherence to regulatory norms and internal credit/risk guidelines. - Recruit, train, and manage high-performing city-level sales & credit operations teams. - Collaborate with State Heads, leadership teams, and external partners to enhance B2C credit offerings.Requirements- 5+ years of experience in credit, lending, merchant finance, or B2C finance, with team-handling exposure. - Deep understanding of merchant and B2C credit ecosystems, underwriting processes, and risk assessment. - Proven track record of scaling credit operations while maintaining strong portfolio quality. - Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and familiarity with fintech/digital credit platforms. - Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. - Willingness to travel extensively for field operations.
