Hiring Partner: 1 2 101 (Recruiting on behalf of Thithilii)Job Title: Fashion DesignerLocation: HyderabadEmployment Type: Full-timeReports To: Creative DirectorWork Model: On-Site (strictly NO remote and NO freelancers)Working Days: Monday to Saturday, 11 AM to 8 PMSalary: Subject to experienceRole SummaryThe Designer will support and contribute to the creation of new collections for Thithilii, including independently developing design concepts with guidance and coordination from the head designer. This role involves research, sketching, sampling, fabric selection, and collaboration with production teams.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign Support & ResearchConceptualize designs for collections, capsules and product ranges.Create mood boards, sketches/illustrations, colour palettes and trend analysis reports.Research fabrics, trims, prints, silhouettes, surface embellishment techniques and market trends relevant to our audience.Product DevelopmentPrepare detailed design sheets, tech packs and garment specifications.Coordinate with sampling units, tailors and production teams to develop prototypes.Conduct sample reviews and provide feedback on fit, construction and finishing.Collection ManagementMaintain design archives, fabric swatches, sample records and size charts.Support photoshoots by styling or assisting with product/garment preparation when required.Cross-team CollaborationWork with marketing/e-commerce teams to provide design inputs for product descriptions, campaign shoots and lookbooks.Ensure design intent aligns with brand aesthetic and customer expectations.Required Skills & QualificationsDegree/Diploma in Fashion Design, Textile Design or related field.2 years of experience in fashion design.Strong sketching ability and proficiency with software like Illustrator, Photoshop or CAD tools.Understanding of fabrics, construction, garment fit and fashion trends.Good communication, coordination and attention to detail.Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced creative environment.Preferred QualificationsExperience in women’s apparel or ethnic/fusion wear.Prior experience in, or a strong interest towards, contemporary pret wear.Must be sharp, with strong creative and problem-solving abilities.Able to think and operate independently when developing design ideas or managing tasks.Comfortable collaborating with team members and providing guidance to interns or support staff when needed.Highly self-motivated, proactive, and capable of taking ownership of design responsibilities.If this role feels like the right fit, we’d love to hear from you!
