No team, no budget initially—just you, your creativity, and an unfair advantage in a massive market shift. This is a founding team role with significant equity upside and pathway to VP Marketing.You'll be successful if you can:Build a global waitlist from 0 to 500 qualified mid-market DTC brands in 90 daysGenerate 50+ demo bookings without paid acquisitionEstablish AgentShop as the thought leader in /"AI commerce/" from IndiaWhat You'll DoWeek 1-4: FoundationOptimize our web presence for conversion (landing pages, LinkedIn, Calendly)Create and execute a content-led growth strategy across LinkedIn and Twitter/X (global DTC audience)Build direct relationships with US/EU DTC founders, CMOs, and agency ownersDesign and ship a /"lead magnet/" that drives qualified signupsMonth 2-3: ScaleLaunch and grow /"The AI Shelf/" newsletter to 1,000+ subscribersSecure podcast guest spots, partnerships, and co-marketing opportunitiesHost weekly LinkedIn Live/AMA sessions to build authorityConvert waitlist to demos to paid founding membersOngoing:Own all growth metrics (CAC, LTV, payback period by channel)Test and validate new channels (community, partnerships, events)Build the marketing playbook and team from BengaluruWho You AreMust-Haves:3+ years growth marketing at a B2B SaaS or global DTC brand (early-stage preferred)Proven track record building from zero: you've grown something from scratch beforeActive, engaged presence on LinkedIn or Twitter with demonstrated content performanceExceptional written English— you can write copy that converts for US/EU audiencesComfortable working US/EU hours for customer calls (flexible schedule)Scrappy operator: you ship fast, measure everything, optimize relentlesslyDeep understanding of global DTC/ecommerce ecosystemNice-to-Haves:Experience working with international/global markets from IndiaPrevious startup or /"founding team/" experienceVideo/content creation skills (Loom, basic editing)Network in global DTC communities (Twitter, LinkedIn, Slack groups)Mindset:You'd rather post 5 times and get 3 signups than spend a week on a /"perfect/" campaignYou believe the best growth comes from genuine relationships, not hacksYou're energized by ambiguity, ownership, and building for global markets from IndiaCompensation & BenefitsBase Salary: ₹8–12 LPA (depending on experience + equity split preference)Equity: 0.3%–0.8% (ESOPs, 4-year vest, 1-year cliff)Performance Bonus: Up to 20% of base on hitting 90-day milestonesBenefits:Annual learning budget: ₹1,00,000Relocation to US post Series AESOP buyback program after Series AWhy this comp structure:We're early.
