Position Overview:Location: Chennai (REHQ / Vallam)Position Title: EV – Vehicle Integration (E&E Architecture)Reports to: LeadFunction: EV TechnicalRequired Mandatory Skillset:Exp: Minimum 4-8 Years of experience in Vehicle Integration (E&E Architecture)Qualification: BTech / BE - Mechanical/ EEE/ECE/Production/Automobile engineeringWhat we need:04+ years’ experience in a similar role including experience in the following areasCAD Proficiency: Expertise in professional CAD software (e.g., Creo) for 2D/3D design, modelling, and drafting.Technical Drawing: Strong knowledge of technical drawings, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and tolerance stack-up analysisKnowledge about automotive industry standards and regulations, applicable globally, in the field of EVAbility to work effectively in cross- functional teams, coordinating with various departments to ensure seamless integration of compliance requirementsWhat you’ll do:The incumbent will be responsible for Vehicle Integration-Layout / Packaging / BOM ManagementTechnical SkillsStrong understanding of complete vehicle structural architectureCAD Proficiency: Expertise in professional CAD software (e.g., Creo) for 2D/3D design, modeling, and drafting.Technical Drawing: Strong knowledge of technical drawings, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and tolerance stack-up analysisBOM Management: Define and manage the complete vehicle BOM structure (e.g., EBOM, MBOM) from concept Phase through SOP (Start of Production), ensuring alignment with manufacturingVariant Management: Develop and maintain complex configurable BOMs to support regional variations, optional content, and different vehicle configsBuild Readiness: Drive the engineering gate readiness for all prototype and pre-production builds. This includes ensuring all components are at the correct revision, available on time, and match the latest approved BOM.Soft SkillsExcellent cross-functional communication and stakeholder management.Strong problem-solving, structured thinking, and RCA skills
