Senior Openshift Engineer

OpenShift Expert EngineerLocation: Noida / Madurai (Onsite) Experience: 5+ YearsRole OverviewWe are looking for an experienced OpenShift Expert Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) v4.x, Bare Metal deployments, cluster management, networking, and automation. The candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing scalable OpenShift environments while ensuring security, performance, and reliability.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, deploy, and manage OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) v4.x environments, including Single Node OpenShift (SNO) clusters.Implement and manage Bare Metal deployments and SR-IOV networking.Configure advanced networking components such as OVN, Multus, MetalLB, AVI, Octavia, and F5 SPK load balancers.Deploy and manage OpenShift on OpenStack using IPI, UPI, Assisted Installer, and Agent-based methods.Implement Advanced Cluster Management (ACM) and Advanced Cluster Security (ACS).Manage Quay Enterprise Registry for container image storage.Implement GitOps practices using ArgoCD/FluxCD and automate deployments using Terraform and Ansible.Integrate security tools like Prisma Cloud Compute.Implement CertManager and Service Mesh.Monitor and optimize platform performance using Dynatrace and cost optimization tools like Kubecost/PerfectScale.Troubleshoot platform issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams.Provide technical guidance and maintain documentation.Required Skills5+ years of experience working with OpenShift/Kubernetes platforms.Hands-on experience with OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) v4.x.Strong experience in Bare Metal deployments, SR-IOV, and networking configurations.Experience with ACM, ACS, Multus, OVN, and Service Mesh.Knowledge of GitOps tools (ArgoCD/FluxCD) and automation tools Terraform and Ansible.Familiarity with Quay Registry, Prisma Cloud, CertManager, and Dynatrace.Strong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.Preferred SkillsExperience with OpenShift on OpenStack.Knowledge of cloud-native and DevOps practices.Relevant OpenShift/Kubernetes certifications are a plus.
