Position: Purchase ManagerLocation: Goa, IndiaReports To: Operations ManagerJob SummaryThe Purchase Manager will play a key role in managing procurement across Navtara’s expanding restaurant chain. This role involves overseeing vendor relationships, cost control, inventory management, and ensuring timely and consistent supply of high-quality ingredients. The ideal candidate will have experience in F&B purchasing, be proficient in Posist and advanced Excel, and demonstrate strong negotiation and organizational skills. Familiarity with Goa’s local and regional suppliers is a plus, helping ensure smooth, efficient operations.Key Responsibilities• Develop and execute procurement strategies that optimize quality, cost, and efficiency.• Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and monitor supplier performance.• Oversee daily purchase orders in Posist, ensuring accuracy, approval, and compliance with Navtara standards.• Track inventory levels and analyze historical data to forecast demand, reduce waste, and control costs.• Collaborate with outlet teams and the kitchen to coordinate orders, meet seasonal requirements, and support efficient operations.• Identify opportunities to improve the procurement process and support food cost control.• Maintain accurate procurement records, monitor budgets, and generate regular reports for management.Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Supply Chain Management, or related field.• 5+ years of procurement experience, preferably within the restaurant or hospitality industry.• Proficiency in using Posist software and advanced expertise in Excel for data analysis and reporting.• Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.• Ability to manage high-volume procurement for multiple outlets and adapt to dynamic demands.Preferred:• Experience handling procurement for restaurant chains or multi-outlet businesses.• Familiarity with Goa’s local and regional suppliers.• Knowledge of food cost control and managing restaurant-specific expenses.Why Navtara?• Join a fast-growing and dynamic restaurant chain in Goa.• Opportunity to oversee procurement for multiple outlets and contribute to our expansion and success.• Competitive salary and room for growth within the company.
