SDS actively works in collaboration with government bodies and urban local authorities to support flagship national missions, including the Swachh Bharat Mission–Urban (SBM-U), through effective IEC, capacity building, and documentation initiatives.Job Overview:Samvedna Development Society is seeking a competent and experienced Project Head to lead and manage projects under Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban) 2.0. The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing project execution, coordinating with Municipal Council (MC Pali), and ensuring effective implementation of solid waste management and urban governance initiatives. The role requires strong leadership, stakeholder coordination, and monitoring capabilities to achieve project objectives and compliance standards.Role Overview:We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Project Head who will be responsible for end-to-end project management under SBM 2.0. The incumbent will work closely with Urban Local Body (ULB) officials and internal teams to ensure smooth execution, monitoring, and reporting of project activities. The role involves supervision, coordination, and active participation in initiatives like Swachh Survekshan and certification processes.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage overall project implementation under SBM 2.0Coordinate effectively with Municipal Council (MC Pali) and other stakeholdersSupervise and guide the project team for smooth execution of tasksMonitor project progress and ensure timely reporting and documentationLiaise with ULB officials for approvals, coordination, and complianceSupport activities related to Swachh Survekshan and certification processesEnsure adherence to project timelines, guidelines, and deliverablesIdentify challenges and implement corrective measures for project efficiencyQualifications and Experience:Graduate/Postgraduate in Environmental Engineering / Civil Engineering / Urban Planning or relevant fieldMinimum 3+ years of experience in SBM (Urban), Solid Waste Management (SWM), or Urban GovernanceStrong understanding of SBM 2.0 guidelines and urban development frameworksProven experience in project management and stakeholder coordinationExcellent communication and leadership skillsAbility to manage teams and work with government bodiesSamvedna Development Society is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from individuals of all backgrounds.
