This is a high-ownership role for someone who thrives in fast-paced startup environments and wants to build real-world, production-critical systems from the ground up.You will be employee #11 and engineer #3, working closely with the Founder, operational leadership, and an onshore senior developer to architect and scale the company’s core proprietary platform.The role begins as remote (offshore) with a clearly defined pathway to full relocation to the UK within 12–24 months for strong performers.Key Responsibilities:Design, build, and scale the company’s proprietary ordering and operations platformDevelop end-to-end full-stack solutions across customer-facing and internal systemsBuild frontend experiences including ordering flows, dashboards, and loyalty systemsArchitect backend services covering APIs, automation, payments, logistics, and data flowsOwn system performance, security, reliability, and scalability in live production environmentsImplement real-time inventory tracking and batch-level production systemsBuild supplier ordering and purchasing workflowsCollaborate closely with operations, marketing, and leadership teamsArchitect systems designed to scale to tens of thousands of usersTake ownership of core systems rather than operating as a feature-only contributorRequired Qualifications / What We’re Looking For:6–8+ years of professional full-stack development experienceDemonstrable experience building and maintaining production systems used by real customersStrong system design fundamentals and experience building platforms from scratchProven ability to design scalable APIs, databases, and frontend flowsHigh standards for performance, security, reliability, and maintainabilityAbility to work independently with minimal hand-holdingComfortable operating in high-pressure, high-responsibility environmentsStrong written and verbal English communication skillsPreferred Skills / Nice to Have:Experience in logistics, ordering, payments, or operations-heavy platformsBackground in early-stage or founder-led startupsExperience with automation, workflow systems, or internal toolingFamiliarity with transactional data models, queues, and integrationsInterest in robotics, automation, or applied AIExperience owning greenfield platforms or major system migrationsTechnology Stack & Architecture:You will work hands-on with a modern, production-grade stack designed for scale and reliability:Next.js (React) for customer ordering, loyalty, dashboards, and internal toolsNode.js + TypeScript (NestJS) for structured, modular backend servicesPostgreSQL as the source of truth for inventory, loyalty ledgers, supplier orders, and audit logsSupabase (Auth / Storage / Postgres) as the managed backend foundationRedis + BullMQ (or equivalent) for background jobs, reordering logic, reconciliation, and supplier syncEvent and outbox patterns for reliable inventory and loyalty transactionsREST APIs and modern authentication systemsCloud deployment using Vercel, AWS, or GCPWork Schedule:Monday to Friday + occasional weekendsGMT: 08:00 – 20:30Indian Standard Time (IST): 13:30 to 02:00 This role requires a significant time commitment (60+ hours per week).Benefits / What We Offer:Monthly salary range: INR 30 - 33 LPA (Yearly)Performance-based salary increases aligned with company revenue growthEquity participation as an early employee and core engineerClear and supported relocation pathway to the UK within 12–24 monthsOpportunity to be employee #11 and engineer #3 in a high-growth European startupDirect collaboration with founders and senior decision-makersHigh autonomy, ownership, and the chance to build career-defining systems.
