Title: Accelerator Intern Duty Station: India Location: RemoteDuration: 1 June 2026 – 31 November 2026 Working Hours: Full time, 8 hours a day, 5 days a week (Please note we are looking for a fulltime resource and are unable to offer this to students on a part-time/flexible hours basis)Stipend: 15,000- 30,000 INR per monthReporting to: Accelerator and Investment Manager About the Toilet Board CoalitionFounded in 2015, the Toilet Board Coalition accelerates business solutions to the global sanitation crisis. The Coalition facilitates vital partnerships between small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), corporates, NGOs, investors and governments who share a commitment to achieve access to sanitation and hygiene for all by 2030 (SDG 6). Through its sector-leading Accelerator, the Coalition provides business model coaching, corporate mentorship and access to investment to Sanitation Economy entrepreneurs serving low-income markets. To date, the Coalition has graduated 111 SMEs, impacting more than 13 million people daily and unlocking US$49 million in finance. Its 80+ Members’ diverse approach to sanitation proudly leads to essential innovation in toilet design, circular recovery of biological resources, and smart digital technologies to ensure safe and sustainable sanitation for all.   The Toilet Board Coalition and its work is made possible by the generous support of its Membership. The contents are the responsibility of the Toilet Board Coalition and do not necessarily reflect the views of the Members and partners. Role OverviewThis is an opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented Accelerator Intern based in Asia, with an interest in entrepreneurship and impact. This is an independent contractor role. We are looking for someone who is curious, organised, and eager to learn, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and support a dynamic team.In this role, you will support the delivery of the Accelerator programme by assisting entrepreneurs with researching funding opportunities, and partnership development. From identifying grants and investors to mapping ecosystem stakeholders, you will contribute to helping SMEs grow and access relevant opportunities across the region.You will also support outreach and engagement efforts, including maintaining partnership pipelines, preparing materials, and assisting with the coordination of events and stakeholder interactions. This role requires strong communication and collaboration skills, along with the ability to work independently in a remote, multicultural environment.You will work closely with the Accelerator and Investment Manager and collaborate with colleagues across engagement and business development, gaining hands-on experience at the intersection of business, innovation, and global development.This is a unique opportunity to contribute to strengthening the sanitation business ecosystem while building practical skills in partnerships, fundraising support, and programme delivery.Key Responsibilities·     Support Asia-based acceleratees and alumni with funding readiness and partnerships·     Assist with financial modelling, analysis, and fundraising strategy development·     Review pitch decks and investment materials·     Identify and support SMEs in applying for relevant grants and funding opportunities·     Introduce entrepreneurs to investors and support them through the fundraising journey·     Build and manage partnerships across investors, corporates, public sector, and ecosystem stakeholders·     Develop and maintain pipelines for investment and public sector partnerships through structured outreach·     Facilitate introductions between SMEs and key stakeholders·     Organise investor events and expand engagement with investor and partner networks·     Support knowledge-building efforts (e.g., articles, case studies)·     Promote the Accelerator, source high-quality applications, and support screening and selection processesWho we are looking for·     Experience in WASH related sectors preferred·     Familiarity with the startup ecosystem·     Bachelor’s or equivalent degree·     Fluency in written and spoken English.·     Excellent presentation skills.Why Join? This internship offers an opportunity to: ·     Gain hands-on experience supporting entrepreneurs within a global accelerator programme·     Work with a diverse, international team across Asia and other regions·     Contribute to a high-impact mission focused on improving access to safe sanitation·     Build practical skills in partnerships, fundraising support, and ecosystem engagement·     Support real SMEs in accessing funding and growth opportunities·     Bring new ideas to life in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environmentAdditional Information ·     This is a remote role based in India.
