Understand Client Requirements* Analyze RFP (Request for Proposal), RFQ, or client requirements* Break down scope, timelines, deliverables, and evaluation criteria* Identify win themes and key differentiatorsIf you misunderstand this step, the proposal fails—no matter how good the writing is.⸻2. Collaborate with Internal Teams* Work with:* Sales / Business Development team* Technical architects / developers* Delivery managers* Gather inputs on:* Solution approach* Technology stack* Pricing estimates⸻3. Write & Structure Proposals* Create clear sections like:* Executive Summary* Company Overview* Technical Solution* Project Plan / Timeline* Pricing / Commercials* Tailor content to each client (avoid copy-paste proposals)⸻4. Develop Winning Content* Highlight:* Past experience (case studies)* Certifications & partnerships* Unique value proposition* Align messaging with client pain points⸻5. Manage Proposal Lifecycle* Track deadlines and submission requirements* Ensure compliance with RFP guidelines* Coordinate reviews and approvals* Submit final proposal (portal/email)⸻6. Create Supporting Documents* Statements of Work (SOW)* Capability decks / presentations* Case studies & resumes of consultants* Proposal templates and reusable content library⸻7. Pricing & Commercial Coordination* Work with finance/sales on:* Rate cards* Resource costing* Fixed vs T&M models⸻8. Ensure Quality & Compliance* Proofread for clarity, grammar, and formatting* Ensure proposal meets:* Client instructions* Legal/compliance requirements* Maintain consistency in branding and messaging⸻9.
