Supplier Quality - LED TV

- Establish process controls, Quality systems at supplier end - Review performance of new products - Drive Built in Quality through identification on Critical stations/parameter and deploying preventive product/process controls for these parameters. - Ensure Touch & Feel of product at par with Global standards. - Set a culture of shop engagement through Plan-Do-Check-Act, Problem Countermeasure Monitoring, Process Stage wise improvement tracking and Quality Circles - Risk mitigation through Change Management / validation. - Collaborate with R&D to integrate quality parameters into product design. - Implement DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) to identify and mitigate potential risks early. - Quality Command Centres for Top-bottom, bottom-top communication. Continuous connect to customer / dealers. - Upgrade Measurement system, online data acquisition, error proofing across suppliers. - Support chronic / sporadic problem resolution and set up immediate containment to Protect the Customer. - Involvement with R&D at the time of validations so that - Assess various suppliers through radar mechanism width and depth of deployment of various initiatives. - Lead improvement initiatives based on defect data and field feedback. - Coordinate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Manufacturing, Service) to monitor and drive all quality-related activities for LED TVs. - Implement and sustain best practices in manufacturing and field quality management.Support supplier quality audits and ensure incoming material meets specifications
