Role Description — Metal Casting Expert (Factory Role)This is afull-time on-site rolefor aMetal Casting ExpertatCurio Group’s Noida manufacturing facility. The Metal Casting Expert will be responsible formanaging and executing the entire metal casting process, frommold preparation and melting operations to finishing and quality inspection. The role requires deep technical knowledge,hands-on experience in foundry operations, and the ability toensure consistent product qualityfor high-end home décor and giftware items. Key ResponsibilitiesOversee theend-to-end metal casting process— from mold design to finishing Supervisemelting, pouring, and cooling operationswhile ensuring optimal temperatures and safety standards Conductquality checksto detect casting defects and ensure precision Collaborate withproduction, design, and finishing teamsto achieve product design goals Implementprocess improvementsfor better efficiency, surface finish, and waste reduction Maintainequipment, tools, and molds, ensuring readiness for production Train and guidejunior technicians and workersin casting operations Maintainrecords and reportsrelated to production, quality, and safety QualificationsProven expertise inmetal casting techniques(e.g., sand casting, die casting, or gravity casting) Strong knowledge ofmelting furnaces, mold materials, and metal alloys(brass, aluminum, iron, etc.) Experience inquality control and defect analysis Ability to troubleshoot process issues and implement corrective actions Understanding offactory safety standardsand compliance Leadership and mentoring skillsfor managing a shop-floor team Diploma or Bachelor’s degree inMetallurgy, Mechanical Engineering, or Materials Science Prior experience inhome décor, handicrafts, or metal manufacturing industryis preferred
