Project Coordinator - Linguistic & Data Annotation Projects

Role OverviewMacgence is seeking a Project Coordinator to support execution of linguistic, data annotation, and AI training projects. This role focuses on coordinating day-to-day project activities, tracking delivery, managing annotators and vendors, and ensuring timelines and quality requirements are met.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Coordination & Execution:- Support end-to-end coordination of linguistic and data annotation projects - Break project requirements into daily and weekly execution plans - Track task allocation, progress, and completion across teams - Ensure timely handoff between annotation, review, and QA stagesTeam & Vendor Coordination- Coordinate with annotators, linguists, reviewers, and external vendors - Assist in onboarding, task assignment, and day-to-day follow-ups - Track attendance, productivity, and availability of resources - Act as the first point of contact for execution-level queriesQuality & Process Support- Ensure teams follow annotation guidelines and SOPs - Support QA checks and flag quality issues or deviations - Coordinate rework and corrective actions with teams - Help maintain language-specific guidelines and updatesTracking & Reporting- Maintain project trackers in Google Sheets / Excel / project tools - Monitor key metrics: throughput, accuracy, TAT, rework - Share daily/weekly status updates with Project Managers - Highlight risks, delays, or capacity gaps proactivelyClient & Internal Communication- Support client deliverables and internal reporting - Assist in pilot runs, scale-ups, and deadline-driven deliveries - Coordinate with Operations, QA, and Vendor teamsRequired Skills & Experience- Experience in linguistic projects, data annotation, or operations coordination - Strong organizational and follow-up skills - Basic understanding of annotation workflows (text, speech, image) - Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills - Proficiency in Google Sheets / ExcelPreferred Experience- Exposure to NLP, ASR, TTS, LLM training data - Experience working with multilingual teams or vendors - Familiarity with HITL workflowsKey Success Metrics- Task completion and on-time delivery - Accuracy of tracking and reporting - Reduction in execution delays - Smooth coordination across teams and vendorsWhy Join Macgence- Work on global AI and language data projects - Strong learning and growth opportunities - Hands-on exposure to AI data operations and execution
