Senior Security Specialist

Seeking a highly skilled Senior Cybersecurity Developer to manage Cloud security infrastructure and practices for our client. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise across multiple domains of cybersecurity and a strong ability to identify, mitigate, and prevent threats in complex environments.Required Technical Skill - Azure Cloud Security/Sentinel/DefenderGood to have Skills - GCP & AWS Cloud Security, Vulnerability and penetration testingKey Responsibilities- Secure cloud infrastructures (Preferred Azure) using industry best practices and services used across this platform. - Develop, execute and track the performance of security measures to protect information and network infrastructure and computer systems. - Identify, define and document system security requirements and recommend solutions to management. - Monitor systems for irregular behaviour and set up preventive measures. - Develop and maintain scripts and playbooks to automate detection, response, and remediation processes. - Stay updated on the latest security threats, technologies, and industry trends, and provide recommendations for improving security posture. - Participate in incident response activities, including investigation, containment, and recovery efforts, as needed. - Ensure compliance with standards such as ISO 27001, NIST and GDPR. - Lead and mentor junior security engineers and collaborate with other teams to drive the Security operations.Required Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field - Minimum 5–8+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity engineering, SOC, or security architecture roles. - Experience with risk assessment, penetration testing, and incident response methodologies. - Deep understanding & proficiency with security practices across different verticals such as Azure Sentinel, Microsoft Defender and other Azure native security services. - Strong experience in securing cloud environments (Preferred Azure).Soft Skills- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - Strong communication and documentation abilities - Ability to work independently and handle high-priority incidents - Leadership and mentoring mindset
