Designation : Sales Development Representative (SDR) Location: India Type: Full-time Reports to: Business Head Function: Business Development and Strategic Growth Role Summary We are building Times NRI , a category-defining platform for affluent NRIs managing ageing parents, property, and financial responsibilities in India. This is not a generalised super app. We are building a focused, high-trust NRI Stack that solves emotionally urgent and operationally complex problems for one of the most underserved affluent global segments. As our Sales Development Representative (SDR) , you will work directly with the Business Development and Partnerships function , supporting the Business Head and senior leadership in building CXO-level pipelines, opening doors, and enabling high-impact B2B2C partnerships. This includes working with external partners and facilitating growth through internal Times Internet channels. What is an SDR? An SDR is the engine of outbound growth. They identify the right targets, initiate contact, set up qualified conversations, and ensure senior leadership has the right conversations at the right time. In this role, the SDR will also serve as a trusted relationship enabler, helping build rapport with CXOs and driving execution in strategic discussions. You will also play a pivotal role during due diligence and integration planning for new partners and potential acquisitions. Key Responsibilities 1. Strategic Pipeline Development Identify and qualify potential B2B2C partners across sectors relevant to the NRI Stack (insurance, banking, real estate, healthcare, and more) Conduct research, map org charts, and prepare high-quality outreach lists Develop messaging and briefing notes for outreach Initiate first-level conversations and schedule meetings with CXOs and decision-makers for the Business Head Build a rapport with CXOs and decision-makers to ensure strong follow-through and trust 2. Internal Activation via Times Internet Ecosystem Coordinate with internal Times Internet business units to activate integrations and support collaboration Serve as the operational bridge between Times NRI and other internal teams Track progress and ensure internal ownership and accountability 3. CXO Relationship Support Join high-level meetings to take notes, send follow-ups, and manage stakeholder coordination Maintain a light-touch CRM or tracker for CXO interactions Support the creation of pitch decks, collateral, and briefing materials 4. Due Diligence and Project Coordination Play a pivotal role during due diligence and integration planning across partnerships and acquisitions Coordinate cross-functional input across legal, finance, product, and strategy Manage timelines, document collection, and status updates 5. Operations and Enablement Keep contact records, meeting notes, and status dashboards up to date Own coordination tasks including scheduling, documentation, and communication Identify and resolve operational blockers in internal or partner engagement workflows Ideal Candidate Profile 2 to 4 years of experience in business development, sales, consulting, or startup operations Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially with senior executives Highly organised, proactive, and reliable with strong follow-up discipline Able to juggle multiple stakeholders and parallel workstreams Skilled at building rapport and maintaining relationships with CXOs and mid-level decision-makers Experience in NRI-facing services, fintech, elder care, or platforms is a plus Comfortable operating in fast-moving, unstructured environments Why This Role Matters This is not a typical inside sales role.
