Lead Software Engineer

We are looking for Senior Python Developer to join our technology team at Clarivate. The successful candidate will have a strong background in leading complex Python projects, with a deep understanding of data processing and data analysis, Machine Learning, LLM and Prompt Engineering. As a Lead Developer, you will be responsible for interacting with different stack holder, understand the business rules and transform data.About You – Experience, Education, Skills, And Accomplishments Bachelor /master’s degree in computer science, mathematics, data science or similar related discipline with 6+ years of proven track record in systems integration and building data Transformation services.Experience in design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient Python code.Expertise in implementing the complex data processing pipelines and algorithms.Analyze and interpret complex datasets to drive business insights and decision-making.Work closely with data scientists and analysts to ensure data quality and relevanceStrong proficiency in Python and related libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Seaborn, MatplotLib, Flask).Experience with data processing, ETL, and data pipeline development.Knowledge of database systems (SQL and NoSQL).Experience with CI/CD tools such as AWS Code Pipeline or Azure DevOpsFamiliarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. It would be great if you also had . . .Knowledge of machine learning libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, Scikit-Learn).Experience in ML/LLM inferencing, LLM Prompt Engineering, Prompt based LLM finetuningFamiliarity with Agile methodologies.Deep knowledge of math, probability, statistics and algorithmsOutstanding analytical and problem-solving skillsUnderstanding of data structures, data modeling and software architectureExpertise in visualizing and manipulating big datasetsWhat will you be doing in this role? Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in accordance with coding standards.Review other codes to ensure clean, efficient, and maintainable code.Define architecture of software solution.Implement software for specifications of high complexity for limited scale systems, or medium to high complexity for large-scale systems.Implement design changes to improve quality, performance, cost reduction, and standardization through analysis of designs and problem-solving techniques.Respond to direct or indirect customer inquiries regarding function and design and attend customer meetings.Design and implement alternative methodologies or techniques to achieving desired results.Maintain an understanding of software development, lifecycle and delivery methodology.Provide guidance for new procedures as needed for the continuing development of high-quality systems.Provide technical training to other team members.Participate in the creation, implementation, and administration of departmental policies, procedures, and work instructions.Maintain knowledge of technical advances and evaluate new hardware / software for company use.Automate tests and unit tests all assigned applications.Participate as a team member on various engineering projects and may lead small projects.Write technical application documentation.About The TeamWe are a cutting-edge Software Engineering team; part of the larger Technology organization focused on Transformation and system integration.
