About the Role BIM Technician Piping Responsibilities Drafting, and 3D modelling of mine infrastructure for the mechanical discipline group which involves: Design/drafting of equipment and plant layouts 3D modeling of process piping Piping layouts and isometrics P&IDs and Process flow diagrams Ensuring models and drawings are in accordance with applicable standards Visiting client facilities at mine sites as required to validate designs Assist with performing conceptual, feasibility and detailed mechanical design work including equipment, and plant layouts Interacting with clients and being responsible for the quality of project deliverables Coordinating with other disciplines and other WSP groups Participating in WSP’s Health & Safety program Assisting with other project work as required Qualifications College Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Design or higher Around 5 years of experience in a relevant field Experience with mining operations would be an asset Ability to complete field and office work as necessary, which may involve work outside of normal business hours Primary drafting software in use is AutoCAD and Plant3D and some knowledge with that software is required however proficiency with these other software packages will be considered an asset: Microsoft Office SolidWorks Inventor Revit Bentley AutoPLANT Civil3D Demonstrates a 'Safety First’ focus attitude and traits in line with WSP’s core values Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English Locations FC-24, First Floor, Noida, UP, 201301, IN Equal Opportunity Statement WSP India is dedicated to fostering a sustainable and inclusive work environment where our greatest strength - Our People - feel valued, respected, and supported.
