Dynatrace EngineerExperience: 5+ Years Employment Type: Contractual Duration: 3–4 Months Work Location: Remote / HybridRole OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Dynatrace Engineer to join our team on a contractual basis. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Application Performance Monitoring (APM), observability, and performance optimization using Dynatrace. You will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of enterprise applications and infrastructure across cloud and distributed environments.Key ResponsibilitiesImplement, configure, and maintain Dynatrace monitoring solutions across applications and infrastructure.Deploy and manage Dynatrace components including OneAgent, ActiveGate, Smartscape, and Davis AI.Monitor application health, identify performance bottlenecks, and provide optimization recommendations.Analyze logs, metrics, and traces to troubleshoot complex application and infrastructure issues.Collaborate with Development, DevOps, QA, and Infrastructure teams to resolve performance-related challenges.Build dashboards, alerts, and custom monitoring configurations to improve observability.Integrate Dynatrace with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools for proactive monitoring.Support cloud-native and microservices-based environments with end-to-end monitoring solutions.Prepare performance analysis reports and share actionable insights with stakeholders.Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance standards across systems.Required Skills & Qualifications5+ years of experience in Application Performance Monitoring (APM) and observability engineering.Strong hands-on experience with Dynatrace tools and capabilities.Expertise in:Dynatrace OneAgentActiveGateSmartscapeDavis AIDistributed TracingLog MonitoringStrong understanding of:Microservices ArchitectureDistributed SystemsCloud Platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)Experience in performance tuning, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting enterprise applications.Good knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows environments.Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps tools such as:JenkinsGitHubAzure DevOpsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience with Kubernetes, Docker, or containerized environments.Knowledge of scripting/automation using Python, Shell, or PowerShell.Exposure to monitoring integrations with enterprise platforms and cloud-native applications.Dynatrace certification is an added advantage.
