MES Engineer

Title - MES EngineerType - Contract Location - Remote Roles and Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain Rockwell PharmaSuite and FactoryTalk MES applications to support manufacturing operations.Lead the integration of MES with SAP ERP and other enterprise systems to ensure smooth data flow and process synchronization.Ensure all MES implementations and processes comply with GxP regulations and industry best practices.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, IT, and Manufacturing to gather requirements and translate them into MES solutions.Troubleshoot and resolve MES-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance.Conduct system validation and support audits to maintain regulatory compliance.Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including system design, validation, and operational procedures.Provide training and technical support to end-users to maximize the effective use of MES tools.Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to MES architecture and integration strategies.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.5 to 10 years of hands-on experience with MES systems, specifically Rockwell PharmaSuite and FactoryTalk MES.Strong experience in system integration, particularly with SAP ERP.In-depth knowledge of GxP compliance requirements and experience working in regulated environments.Proven ability to manage MES projects from conception through deployment and support.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams.Relevant certifications in MES or automation technologies are a plus.Tools and Technologies:Rockwell PharmaSuiteFactoryTalk MESSAP ERP integrationMES validation and compliance toolsIndustrial automation and control systemsProgramming and scripting languages relevant to MES customization (e.g., SQL, VBScript)System documentation and project management software
