Electrical Design Engineer

Roles and ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop electrical systems for commercial and residential projects in compliance with international standards, including NEC, IEC, and local regulations.Collaborate with project teams to ensure electrical designs meet project requirements and specifications.Conduct load calculations, short circuit analysis, and coordination studies to ensure system reliability and safety.Utilize software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP, Dialux, and Amtech for system design, analysis, and drafting.Prepare detailed design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and technical reports.Review and approve shop drawings and submittals to ensure compliance with design intent and standards.Conduct site assessments and provide technical support during installation and commissioning phases.Implement energy-efficient design practices and stay updated on energy codes and standards.Necessary RequirementBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.4+ years of experience in electrical design, with proven experience on US projects.Proficiency in electrical design software, including AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP, Dialux, Amtech, and other relevant applications.Strong understanding of electrical systems, load calculations, and energy efficiency principles.Experience working on Data Centers will be preferred.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
