Workato QA Engineer

WORKATO QA Engineer - Immediate joiner Location - (Hybrid) Preferred Pune- as it is a base location or ( Bangalore , Hyderabad, Chennai)Exp - 5+ Hands on experience with Workato & TIBCO The Integration QA Engineer will work closely with the Workato Integration Developer to support the migration of enterprise integrations from TIBCO BW 5x to Workato. This role focuses on ensuring functional accuracy, data integrity, performance, and overall quality of migrated integrations throughout the delivery lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with the Workato Integration Developer to validate integrations migrated from TIBCO BW 5x to Workato.Review existing TIBCO BW logic and corresponding Workato recipes to ensure functional equivalence.Design and execute test scenarios for integration workflows, APIs, and data transformations.Perform functional, regression, system, and end-to-end testing of Workato recipes, connectors, OPAs, and API collections.Validate data mappings, transformations, error handling, and exception scenarios.Test RESTful APIs, event-driven integrations, and message-based workflows.Support CI/CD pipelines through build verification, deployment validation, and post-release testing.Log, track, and retest defects; collaborate with engineering teams for timely resolution.Provide clear quality status, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders.Skills & ExperienceExperience testing enterprise integrations or iPaaS platforms (Workato or similar).Strong understanding of integration patterns, ETL concepts, and data transformation.Hands-on experience testing RESTful APIs and asynchronous/event-based systems.Familiarity with OAuth and authentication mechanisms.Experience supporting Agile delivery and CI/CD-based deployments.Ability to interpret integration logic, workflows, and technical documentation.PreferredKnowledge or exposure to TIBCO BW 5x (for migration context).Experience validating Workato accelerators and reusable frameworks.Exposure to test automation or scripting for integration testing.
