Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Position - Cypress Automation Engineer Location - Noida Experience - 5-7 Years Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled Cypress Automation Engineer to join our QA team and help ensure the delivery of high-quality web applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in writing end-to-end test automation using Cypress.io , strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills, and a passion for delivering robust, maintainable, and scalable test suites. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress for end-to-end and integration testing. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA team members to understand requirements and identify test scenarios. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI). Debug failed tests and report defects with clear documentation. Ensure test coverage for new features and regression testing. Maintain and update test frameworks and libraries as needed. Participate in code reviews and promote test automation best practices. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in test automation with Cypress.io . Proficient in JavaScript or TypeScript . Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, REST APIs, browser dev tools). Experience with source control tools like Git . Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins , GitHub Actions , CircleCI , etc. Good communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber. Knowledge of other test automation tools (e.g., Playwright, Selenium). Exposure to performance testing or security testing. Experience testing in cloud-based environments (e.g., AWS, Azure). Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
