Role: Associate Content and Alignment SpecialistPosition type: ContractCommitment: Full-Time (1:00 PM – 10:00 PM IST)The Associate Content and Alignment Specialist will work on standards and alignments initiatives for National and State projects as well as cross-functional projects. This position analyzes content across company products in accordance with national, state, and local standards to create detailed documentation for new content development, customization of existing content, and in support of customer needs. This position also works on projects supporting the development and maintenance of subject-specific taxonomies referred to as the Spine.Essential Job FunctionsEdit and maintain the Spine. Unpack standards into discrete skills creating a subject-specific taxonomic competency framework (Spine).Align taxonomic competency frameworks to standards across all states. Align content to the Spine.Support curriculum-based projects with knowledge of state and national standards including designing custom courses. Update content alignments including whenever states adopt new standards or make changes to existing standards. Analyze existing content alignments to identify opportunities and gaps. Create learning pathways.Fulfill other duties as required.QualificationsMaster’s (preferred) or Bachelor’s Degree in EnglishExperience teaching in K-12, aligning content to academic standards, or developing curriculum preferred.Ability to organize complex projects, prioritize multiple deliverables, and meet deadlines.Strong writing and proofreading skills with a keen attention to detail.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word.Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills.Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills.Thrive in a team-oriented, collaborative, and results-driven workplace.Self-motivated, adaptable, and flexible while managing shifting internal expectations.
