Admissions Counselor

Job Title: Admissions CounselorLocation: Greater NoidaDepartment: Admissions & Branding SectionReports To: General ManagerAbout the Role:We are seeking a talented Admissions Counselor to drive our university’s admissions initiatives. An Admissions Counsellor will guide prospective students through the application and enrollment process for educational institutions. The position requires strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills to provide personalized support and achieve enrollments.Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with K–12 schools to design and implement engagement initiatives such as faculty training programs, counsellor workshops, and student visits to GLA University, serving as the key liaison between the partner schools and the University. - Supporting the leaders in their career and education counselling sessions for school students — deliver presentations, address queries, and serve as their primary point of contact. - Manage and support all student inquiries and applications from the assigned region/geography, ensuring a seamless and positive engagement experience. - Follow up with leads generated from various platforms such as digital (social media. website, chats, etc.), student interactions, existing students and any other external database - Work towards achieving the assigned enrolment targets for the respective region/geography. - Maintain MIS, daily reports, and activity trackers to update leadership on progress and key metrics. - Coordinate with the School for the necessary outreach activities so as to facilitate supplies, receipt of applications, and ensure efficient operational processes. - Manage and update databases related to marketing and outreach activities.Qualifications and Requirements:- Graduate degree in any discipline, with 6 months –4 years of relevant experience. - Prior experience in the education sector, particularly in school engagement or outreach initiatives, will be an advantage. - Excellent verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to deliver engaging presentations to large groups. - Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially MS Excel and PowerPoint; advanced Excel and data analysis skills are essential. - Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a high level of energy and enthusiasm. - Proven experience in vendor management, negotiations, event organization and community outreach.Salary:3.5 Lac to 4.5 Lac per annum
