With a deep commitment to learner success,Unacademy is redefining how India learns — one student at a time.Position: Academic CounsellorEmployment Type: Full-TimeRole OverviewWe are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Academic Counsellor to join our team and drive studentengagement and enrolment.As an Academic Counsellor, you will play a critical role in helping students make informed decisions about theireducation, guiding them through our offerings, and building strong relationships to ensure satisfaction andretention.Key Responsibilities• Prospect and Lead Generation: Identify and research potential students, clients, and target markets.Generate leads through various channels, including online research, networking, and outreach.Collaborate with local schools and communities.• Student Counselling: Engage with prospective students in-person and over the phone to understand theiracademic background, career objectives, and learning preferences.• Enrolment Assistance: Assist students with the enrolment process, including course selection, feepayment, and registration. Follow up with potential leads and encourage them to join our programs.Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, andother stakeholders. Understand individual needs and recommend appropriate solutions. Provideexceptional service to ensure satisfaction.• Sales and Revenue Growth: Develop and execute strategies to achieve enrollment and revenue targets.Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations to students and parents. Negotiate and close enrollmentseffectively.• Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, student preferences, and competitor activities. Analyzedata to identify new business opportunities.• Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of student interactions, sales activities, andfollow-ups.
