Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Akamai SME to lead the configuration, monitoring, and automation of CDN and tooling systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Akamai CDN, infrastructure automation using Terraform, and DevOps tools. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable solutions, manage alerts, and optimize performance across environments. Key Responsibilities: Configure application and web transaction monitoring using Akamai tools. Create customized reports and manage alert definitions. Integrate auto-ticketing systems and manage different views/templates. Install, configure, and customize tooling systems to meet business needs. Collaborate with IT teams to gather requirements and implement solutions. Provide technical support and troubleshoot tooling-related issues. Develop and maintain documentation and best practices. Identify automation opportunities and drive process improvements. Stay updated with industry trends and recommend tooling enhancements. Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of Akamai CDN and web performance optimization. Experience with HashiCorp Terraform for infrastructure automation. Familiarity with AWX, GitLab CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes. Proficient in scripting (Python, PowerShell). Understanding of Linux/Unix and Windows system administration. Experience with tooling systems and configuration management.
