GLOBAL PROCESS OWNER - FINANCE & ACCOUNTING (AP SPECIALIST)Salary 35 to 42 lacs including (32 to 35 fixed) Experience 10-20 yearsAbout the RoleWe are seeking a Global Process Owner - Finance & Accounting (Senior Manager / AGM level) to lead our Accounts Payable transformation and standardization initiatives. This is a strategic role reporting to the Head of Financial Services, based at our India operations center.GPO-JD.pdfPosition Summary:This is a senior individual contributor role focused on ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and consistency of F&A processes—particularly Accounts Payable—across the entire global organization. You will drive process standardization, implement automation, and lead continuous improvement initiatives. This role is ideal for an AP specialist with a strong end-to-end Finance & Accounting background who thrives in managing complex, multi-regional financial operationsKey ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Process Ownership- Define, document, and implement standardized F&A/AP processes across all global regions and business units - Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the F&A team - Develop and implement service delivery strategies aligned with organizational goals - Identify and eliminate process inefficiencies and redundanciesProcess Optimization & Automation- Lead process improvement initiatives with focus on AP automation and streamlining - Implement new technologies and automation solutions (RPA, BI tools) to streamline F&A/AP workflows - Analyze process performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities - Develop and maintain process flowcharts, documentation, and training materials - Partner with IT to ensure systems and tools effectively support F&A/AP activitiesFinancial Operations & Analysis- Develop and maintain KPIs to measure effectiveness of F&A/AP processes - Monitor and analyze F&A/AP data to identify trends and opportunities - Support creation of accurate and timely financial reports and forecasts - Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making - Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives within the F&A functionCompliance & Risk Management- Ensure F&A/AP processes comply with all accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP), regulations, and internal controls - Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with F&A/AP operationsStakeholder Management & Communication- Foster strong relationships with regional F&A/AP teams and business partners - Communicate process changes and updates to all stakeholders effectively - Provide ongoing training and support to regional teams on standardized processes - Lead cross-functional initiatives and manage multiple concurrent projectsCandidate ProfileEssential Requirements (Must Have)Experience & Expertise:- 14+ years of post-qualification experience in Financial Accounting, AP Operations, and Process Transformation - Extensive background in Accounts Payable operations across global multi-location setups - Strong end-to-end Finance & Accounting knowledge - Experience with ERP systems (Oracle Fusion, SAP, NetSuite, or equivalent) - Exposure to automation tools – RPA, BI tools, VBA/Macro, or similar technologiesTechnical & Professional Skills:- Knowledge of IFRS / GAAP accounting standards - Excellent proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) - Demonstrated ability to extract, analyze, and visualize data from financial systems - Strong statistical and analytical skills - Experience working in a global matrix environmentBehavioral & Leadership:- Excellent leadership and communication skills with ability to influence across functions - Ability to work effectively in a rapidly changing, high-pressure environment - Strong project management skills – ability to handle multiple projects and multi-taskDesirable Qualifications (Nice to Have)- Working experience in Oil & Gas, EPC, Manufacturing, or Aerospace sectors - Six Sigma or lean certification - Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2) - RPA, BI, or data visualization tools expertise (Power BI, Tableau, UiPath, etc.)Location & ApplicationLocation: India Operations Center (Flexible work arrangements available)How to Apply: Submit updated Resume/CV highlighting AP/F&A process improvement experience.
