Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Title: QA Engineer Location: Noida Experience: 2 to 3 years relevant Type: Full Time About the Job Role We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Quality Assurance (QA Automation) Engineer with 2.5+ years of experience to join our growing team. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products. You will work closely with the development and DevOps teams to identify issues early in the software development lifecycle and contribute to delivering high-quality products. Key Responsibilities 1. Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements and design documents. 2. Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing on software applications. 3. Identify, document, and track defects in a clear and concise manner using bug-tracking systems. 4. Work on both manual and automated testing efforts, depending on project needs. 5. Collaborate with DevOps to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring continuous quality delivery. Collaboration, Communication, and Documentation: 1. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and business analysts, to ensure high-quality outputs. 2. Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to achieve the quality assurance goals within the Agile framework. 3. Prepare detailed testing reports, document defects, and provide insights on overall product quality. 4. Communicate test results and issues to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner. Experience: - 2.5+ years of experience in software quality assurance or a related role. - Strong experience with manual testing and a good understanding of automation testing. - Hands-on experience with API test automation tools such as Postman. - Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter. Technical Skills: - Good understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes. - Strong knowledge of functional, regression, and database testing. - Familiarity with issue-tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar. - Basic knowledge of programming/scripting languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript. - Familiarity with database queries (SQL) and experience with API testing. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating test automation into these processes. - Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium or Cypress for web application testing. - Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc. - Cloud knowledge preferred. Soft Skills: 1. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 3. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality. 4. Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Qualifications: Education: B.Tech. (CSE/IT), MCA, or a related field. - Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB, AWS Certified) are a plus
