Tata Electronics is committed to creating a socioeconomic footprint by employing many women in its workforce and actively supporting local communities through initiatives in environment, education, healthcare, sports and livelihood.Role SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Oracle L3 Database Administrator with 7–10 years of experience to manage mission‑critical databases. The role involves ensuring high availability, performance, security, and disaster recovery across enterprise environments, with additional expertise in Oracle Goldengate, OEM, and SQL Server database administration.Responsibilities- Install, configure, patch, and upgrade Oracle Database across environments. - Develop and manage RMAN backup/recovery strategies; ensure disaster recovery with Data Guard. - Configure and maintain Oracle RAC for high availability. - Monitor and tune performance using AWR, ADDM, ASH, and SQL Tuning tools. - Troubleshoot database issues (performance, connectivity, corruption) and analyze logs. - Design and maintain schemas, indexes, partitioning, and constraints. - Implement and manage Oracle Goldengate for real‑time replication and migrations. - Administer Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) for centralized monitoring, alerts, and capacity planning. - Automate routine tasks with shell scripting. - Perform database upgrades and migrations with minimal downtime. - Conduct regular health checks on storage, performance, and configuration. - Collaborate with application and IT teams to resolve database‑related issues. - Track and report KPIs on uptime, query performance, and resource utilization. - Provide 24/7 support for critical systems. - Administer and support SQL Server databases (installation, backup/recovery, performance tuning, security) as part of a hybrid environment.Essential Attributes- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work under pressure and manage critical incidents. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills across teams. - Leadership qualities with experience mentoring junior DBAs. - Proactive approach to performance tuning and automation.Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. - Strong knowledge of Oracle Database architecture, RAC, Data Guard, RMAN, SQL tuning, and SQL Server administration.Desired Experience Level- 7–10 years of hands‑on experience as an Oracle DBA in enterprise environments. - Proven expertise in Oracle Goldengate replication and OEM monitoring. - Experience with SQL Server database administration in hybrid environments. - Exposure to large‑scale, mission‑critical databases requiring HA/DR.
