Social media is not a branding exercise for us—it’s how the brand is built in public.You’ll be part of the founding team, working directly with the founders to define how Clumsy Bumsy shows up online.The RoleYou will own end-to-end social content—from idea to upload. This includes:Visualising content ideasShooting content (phone is fine, taste is not optional)Directing edits (even if you don’t edit yourself)Posting, learning, iteratingYou are expected to understand what works on social right now, not what worked last year.What You’ll Be Responsible ForVisualising, shooting, and publishing short-form content (Reels, Shorts, TikTok-style formats)Understanding what good editing looks like—even if you’re not the editorIdentifying and riding social media trends earlyKnowing which hooks stop the scroll and which don’tAnalysing what formats, sounds, and structures are currently workingIdentifying and collaborating with relevant influencers and creatorsExperimenting constantly and learning from performanceOwning content quality, consistency, and creativity end-to-endWhat We’re Looking ForContent and creativity are your core skill—not an add-onStrong visual sense and instinct for framing, pacing, and storytellingDeep understanding of short-form video platformsAbility to spot trends early and adapt them authenticallyClear point of view on hooks, formats, and creator-style contentComfortable working fast with minimal structureHigh ownership mindset—you don’t wait to be told what to createThis Role Is Not For You IfYou only repost trends without adding your own takeYou rely heavily on designers/editors to think for youYou need heavy planning cycles to createYou’re uncomfortable experimenting publicly and failing fastWhy This Role MattersSocial media will define Clumsy Bumsy’s brand voice, trust, and growth.
