Job Summary:Ratna Sagar P. Ltd.is looking for Editors for English to join its print and digital vertical.Primary responsibilities:To understand the essence behind each product. To ensure timely, error-free and cost-effective publication of books by handling projects from the manuscript stage to the final books. To ensure completion of assigned editorial tasks within agreed schedules To assist in planning and managing copy editing schedules of assigned tasks To ensure the publication of error-free, high-quality books To ensure efficient and professional communication with authorsCandidate Specification:Post Graduate in English/Diploma Certificate Course in Publishing 3-5 years of experience working with a brand with a Pan India presence Conversant with the basics of editing Experience in publishing K-12 books Knowledge of various typesetting and designing programs, such as PageMaker, Photoshop, and InDesign Effective written and verbal communication skills Effective organisational skills Performing under strict deadlines Compensation – At par with industry standards Working days: 5 days a week
