Job Responsibilities: As a Video Editor with 2 to 4 years of work experience, your primary responsibilities will include: Video Editing: Edit raw video footage into compelling, visually appealing, and engaging videos. This includes cutting, trimming, and sequencing clips, adding transitions, text overlays, and special effects as needed. Storyboard Implementation: Collaborate with the creative team to bring their vision to life by translating scripts and storyboards into captivating videos that align with the project's goals. Color Correction and Grading: Enhance the visual quality of videos through color correction and grading, ensuring consistency and aesthetic appeal throughout the project. Sound Editing: Edit and mix audio to ensure clear, balanced, and high-quality sound in the final videos. This may involve adding music, voiceovers, and sound effects. Collaboration: Work closely with the production team, including directors, producers, and cinematographers, to ensure a seamless workflow from shooting to editing. Client Feedback: Incorporate client feedback and revisions into video projects while maintaining project deadlines and quality standards. Technical Proficiency: Stay up-to-date with the latest video editing software, tools, and techniques to continually improve editing skills and workflow efficiency. File Management: Organize and maintain an organized library of video assets, including raw footage, project files, and completed videos. Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of professional video editing experience. Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools. Strong understanding of video production processes and techniques. Familiarity with color correction and audio editing software (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Audition). Excellent attention to detail and creativity in storytelling through video. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A portfolio showcasing your video editing work.
