The Role (read: you’ll shoot, you’ll cut, you’ll ship)You’ll split your time between editing and shooting : crafting scroll-stopping short-form, polishing long-form stories, and capturing content on set/on location with our directors and producers. What you’ll do — Roles & ResponsibilitiesEditing Edit short-form (reels, teasers, trailers) and long-form (after movies, brand films, BTS, interviews). Build tight narratives from messy timelines: stringouts → selects → rough → fine → final. Color-correct/grade (basic to intermediate), audio clean-up, mix to spec, export & version for platforms. Create motion GFX: titles, lower-thirds, logo stings, simple transitions. Maintain project hygiene: bins, proxies, versioning, backups, naming conventions Videography Shoot with mirrorless/DSLR cinema setups (Sony/Canon), gimbal ops, sticks, basic lighting. Assist on multicam/live setups; sync, slate, media wrangling, DIT basics. Capture BTS/docu moments, brand/product shots, interviews; mic and monitor audio on location. Care for gear like it’s your firstborn: charge, pack, checklist, return, log. Production & Collaboration Work with directors/producers to translate briefs into edit plans and shot lists. Contribute creative ideas for scripts, transitions, hooks, and thumb-stopping first 3 seconds. Hit deadlines without drama; own feedback loops and deliver on time. Must-HavesA portfolio/reel that proves taste, pace, and storytelling. Strong in Premiere Pro (or DaVinci Resolve). Working knowledge of After Effects , Lightroom/Photoshop . Camera confidence: exposure, focus, audio basics, and safe file management. Understanding of aspect ratios, codecs, and platform specs (IG/FB/YouTube). Attitude: proactive, organized, takes feedback like a champ. Nice-to-HavesDaVinci color basics, sound design chops, or experience with multicam sync. Gimbal familiarity, basic lighting setups, or drone ops (licensed = brownie points). Interest in music/festival culture and high-energy brand content. LogisticsWork mode: On-site from our CR Park office, regular working hours (with occasional late nights or travel on shoot days — compensated/time-off balanced). Duration: 6 months.
