This role involves end-to-end ownership of SOC operations, ensuring continuous monitoring, threat detection, and incident response while maintaining high standards of security and performance.The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise in cybersecurity with leadership skills to manage teams, interact with clients, and drive continuous improvement in SOC maturity.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn end-to-end SOC operations including 24x7 monitoring, incident response, and operational continuityDefine and manage SLAs and KPIs such as MTTD, MTTR, and alert qualityAct as the primary point of contact for clients, leading reviews and presenting security insights and improvementsLead, mentor, and manage SOC teams including shift planning, performance management, and skill developmentOversee security incident monitoring, threat analysis, and response activitiesImplement and improve security measures including SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint security, and firewall managementDrive proactive security initiatives such as threat hunting, detection engineering, and purple team exercisesEnsure compliance with security standards, regulatory requirements, and reporting obligationsCollaborate with internal teams to enhance overall security posture and system performanceRequired Skills and QualificationsStrong experience in SOC operations, incident response, and threat analysisHands-on experience with SIEM tools, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint security solutionsKnowledge of VAPT, threat intelligence, and cybersecurity best practicesProven leadership experience managing security teams and operationsFamiliarity with compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, GDPR, or PCI DSSStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsEffective communication and stakeholder management abilitiesBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related fieldPreferred QualificationsRelevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEHExperience in managing client-facing SOC environmentsExposure to SOC maturity frameworks and continuous improvement modelsThis role is ideal for someone who can balance technical depth, operational excellence, and client engagement while building a proactive and high-performing SOC environment.
