Job Title: Head of Sales - Air Freight Department: SalesLocation: MumbaiReports To: Sales Director/CEO Job Summary:The Air Freight Sales Head is responsible for driving revenue growth by promoting air freight services, acquiring new clients, maintaining relationships with existing customers, and ensuring their air freight logistics needs are met efficiently and effectively.Key Responsibilities:Sales and Business Development:Identify and target potential customers to promote air freight services.Generate leads through various channels and convert them into business opportunities.Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.Customer Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their logistics needs.Provide tailored solutions and ensure customer satisfaction.Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and concerns.Market Analysis:Monitor market trends, competition, and customer demands in the air freight industry.Provide insights and recommendations to the management for service improvements.Quotations and Pricing:Prepare and present accurate quotes based on customer requirements.Negotiate pricing and service agreements with clients.Coordination and Operations Support:Collaborate with operations teams to ensure seamless shipment handling and delivery.Resolve issues related to documentation, customs clearance, and transportation.Reporting:Maintain and update sales records, client databases, and activity reports.Present sales performance and pipeline forecasts to management regularly. Qualifications and Skills:Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related fields.Experience: 10 years of sales experience in air freight or logistics services.Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.Skills: Strong understanding of air freight operations, rates, and regulations.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Proficient in CRM software and MS Office Suite.Personal Attributes: Customer-focused with a proactive approach.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Additional Requirements:Willingness to travel as needed.Knowledge of international trade and customs regulations is a plus.Fluency in English, Hindi & Marathi.
