Defines sales strategic goals, identifies sales opportunities, pipeline management, negotiates and closes business deals, and maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions.Gather information on all competitors and prevalent industry and business climate within the territory; communicate information to management and others as needed.Meets with customers, often being required to make presentations on solutions and services that meet or predict customer’s future needs. Promotes product lines and system solutions and drive profitable growth by achieving or exceeding the budget targets. Conduct regular quote follow-up calls to obtain status of order or negotiate the final terms of a sale. Prepare and maintain quote log, territory forecast, and market price feedback report.Maintain organizational communication across departments/divisions and with internal customer services and other departments ensuring uniform information is relayed to the customers regarding pricing, availability of products, status of orders and other pertinent information. Attend and participate in business/trade events and company sales meetings.Prepare required reports including Close of Business, Territory Management Plan, Expense and Mileage.
