Technical Sales Manager - Home & Personal Care Ingredients

Gravity Chemicals & Specialties is expanding its specialty ingredients business and is looking for a Technical Manager – Business Development with strong exposure to Personal Care ingredients, and working knowledge of Home Care applications based out of Delhi.Key Responsibilities :-Business Development (Primary Focus – Personal Care)Drive business growth for Personal Care ingredients, with emphasis on Skin Care, Hair Care, Sun Care, and Oral Care.Identify and develop new accounts, projects, and market opportunities.Build strong relationships with customer R&D, formulation, procurement, and marketing teams.Convert technical projects and trials into sustainable commercial business.Support pricing strategy, value selling, and portfolio positioning.Home Care Business Support (Secondary Focus)Provide technical-commercial support for Home Care ingredients including Detergents, Surface Cleaners, Dishwash, and Fabric Care.Assist sales teams in customer trials, troubleshooting, and product positioning for Home Care applications.Technical & Application LeadershipLead formulation development, reformulation, and optimization for Personal & Home Care applications.Conduct benchmarking, performance testing, and competitive evaluations.Prepare application notes, formulation guides, and technical documentation.Support new product launches and innovation initiatives.Customer & Principal EngagementAct as the technical interface between customers, sales, and global principals.Conduct joint customer visits and technical workshops with principals.Deliver internal training to sales and marketing teams.Market Intelligence & StrategyTrack trends in Personal Care (clean beauty, sustainability, sensorial performance, multifunctional ingredients).Monitor Home Care trends related to performance, cost optimization, and regulatory requirements.Provide structured market feedback to management and principals.Qualifications & ExperienceEducation:M.Sc. / B.Tech / B.E. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Cosmetic Science, or related discipline.Experience:3 -5 years in Personal Care and/or Home Care ingredients, with exposure to technical sales or business development.Technical Expertise:Strong knowledge of emulsifiers, surfactants, polymers, rheology modifiers, preservatives, and specialty additives.Hands-on formulation experience in Personal Care preferred; Home Care experience is a strong advantage.Commercial Skills:Proven ability to grow accounts and manage key customers.Strong presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.Why Join Gravity Chemicals & Specialties?Strategic, high-impact role with greater focus on Personal Care growthOpportunity to work across Personal & Home Care technologiesExposure to innovative global principalsCareer growth in a fast-expanding specialty chemicals organization
