Job Description: Sales Executive – Modern Trade Department: Sales – Modern Trade Industry: Beauty, Personal Care, FMCG Employment Type: Full-Time Location: Delhi NCR Experience: Minimum 2+ Years (Mandatory) Salary: ₹35,000 per month + performance-based incentives Reporting To: Manager – Sales & Marketing Note: This role is strictly focused on Modern Trade channels. Candidates with primary experience in distributor-led general trade sales will not be preferred. Job SummaryWe are looking for a Sales Executive – Modern Trade to drive sell-out, in-store execution, and brand visibility across modern trade retail formats such as Nykaa, Shoppers Stop, Reliance Retail, Health & Glow, Spencer’s, Modern Bazaar, etc.The role requires hands-on store-level execution, close coordination with Beauty Advisors / Promoters, and strong ownership of sales performance, visibility, and stock availability within modern trade outlets. Key Responsibilities1. Modern Trade Store ManagementHandle assigned modern trade outlets only (no distributor or GT sales responsibility).Ensure product availability, correct assortment, planogram compliance, and shelf standards.Conduct regular store visits and execution audits. 2. Sales & Target AchievementDrive secondary sales (sell-out) from modern trade stores.Track daily, weekly, and monthly sales against targets.Support execution of in-store promotions, offers, and campaigns to improve conversion. 3. Beauty Advisor / Promoter CoordinationCoordinate with Beauty Advisors / Promoters deployed at stores.Ensure attendance, grooming standards, product knowledge, and sales focus.Provide on-ground support during brand days, demos, and activations. 4. Customer Engagement & Product DemonstrationSupport and monitor product demonstrations, trials, and consultations.Ensure a high standard of customer experience and brand representation. 5. Stock & Inventory ManagementMonitor store-level stock, minimum stock levels, and replenishment needs.Coordinate with internal teams for timely replenishment and stock movement.Track and report damaged, expired, or slow-moving inventory. 6. Visibility & In-store ExecutionEnsure execution of in-store branding, fixtures, testers, gondolas, and promotional displays.Support new product launches and seasonal campaigns at store level. 7. Reporting & Market FeedbackSubmit daily sales reports, store visit reports, and audit observations.Share competitor activity, pricing, schemes, and market feedback with the team. Key Skills & CompetenciesHands-on experience in Modern Trade retail executionExposure to beauty / personal care / FMCG categoriesAbility to manage and motivate Beauty Advisors / PromotersStrong communication and interpersonal skillsUnderstanding of planograms, shelf execution, and store auditsBasic proficiency in MS Excel and reporting formats Clear Preference✅ Modern Trade experience is mandatory❌ Distributor / General Trade–only profiles will not be preferred EducationGraduate in any discipline (mandatory)Beauty, cosmetology, or retail-related training will be an added advantage KPIsSales target achievementStore execution & visibility scoreStock availability & replenishment accuracyPromoter productivity and complianceQuality and timeliness of reporting
