Position Overview The Technical Sales Engineer will play a key role in driving business growth through direct sales, OEM development, and customer support. The role combines strong technical understanding of industrial instrumentation with the ability to build relationships and close sales within target industries. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute sales strategies to promote instrumentation products (Magnetic Level Gauges, Thermowells, Orifice Assemblies, Flushing Rings, etc.) in North India. Identify and engage new customers in Sugar, Power, Paper, and Steel sectors, as well as OEMs in and around Delhi/NCR. Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and consultations with engineers, plant heads, and procurement teams. Provide technical quotations, price negotiations, and coordinate with internal design and production teams to meet client requirements. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new opportunities and product improvements. Maintain strong post-sales relationships and ensure timely delivery, installation support, and service follow-up. Achieve assigned sales targets, report progress, and update CRM or sales tracking systems regularly. Qualifications & Skills Education: B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Instrumentation / Mechanical / Industrial Engineering (or related field). Experience: 2–6 years of experience in technical sales of industrial instrumentation or process control equipment. Strong understanding of level, flow, and pressure instrumentation and related applications in process industries. Proven ability to manage industrial clients and OEM accounts. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Willingness to travel extensively across North India. Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of working independently.
