Merchandising & Sourcing Executive

Job Summary:We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Sourcing Executive to manage vendor identification, product sourcing, price negotiations, and procurement coordination. The candidate will work closely with the Sourcing Manager to ensure timely procurement at competitive pricing while maintaining quality standards.Key Responsibilities:Identify and evaluate new vendors and suppliers.Conduct market research to source products at competitive prices.Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery timelines.Maintain vendor database and supplier performance records.Coordinate with internal teams (Operations, Finance, Warehouse).Monitor purchase orders and ensure timely delivery.Track cost savings and support in achieving procurement KPIs.Ensure compliance with company policies and documentation.Resolve supplier-related issues and discrepancies.Key Skills & Competencies:Strong negotiation and communication skills.Vendor management experience.Good analytical and cost comparison skills.Ability to handle multiple vendors and timelines.Proficiency in MS Excel.Knowledge of procurement processes.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Business / Supply Chain.1–3 years of experience in sourcing / procurement.Experience in retail / manufacturing (preferred).Performance KPIs:Cost savings achieved.Vendor turnaround time.On-time delivery rate.Supplier performance score.Reduction in procurement cycle time.
