Launched in 2016 with Fable Street (premium western wear) and later expanded with Pink Fort (modern Indian wear), FS Life is a growing multi-brand house focused on fit, quality, and contemporary design.About the Role:As a Junior Apparel Merchandiser, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end product and production lifecycle — from sourcing and development to production execution and timely delivery. You will work closely with Design, Production, and Vendor partners to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and smooth launches of collections.Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Source fabrics, trims, raw materials, and accessories in collaboration with Design and Production teams.Coordinate and communicate with local and regional vendors for sampling, quotations, MOQs, lead times, and production follow-ups.Negotiate pricing and commercial terms with suppliers to optimize costs while maintaining quality.Calculate and track product and production costs; ensure adherence to budgets.Manage production schedules, monitor progress, and ensure on-time delivery.Establish and communicate quality standards and specifications to vendors.Maintain a structured fabric library with details on pricing, colors, and timelines.Support smooth collection launches by coordinating with cross-functional teams.Identify and resolve production or sourcing issues proactively to minimize delays.Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with vendors and manufacturers.Stay updated on market trends, fabrics, and customer preferences. Required Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:1-3 years of merchandising experience in Export Houses or Retail/E-commerce companies.Educational background in Fashion, Textile, or Merchandising.Strong knowledge of sourcing, fabrics, trims, and merchandising systems.Experience handling merchandising and production for Knits and Wovens (preferred).Understanding of Indian pattern making and garment fits.Proficiency in MS Excel for costing, tracking, and analysis.Excellent communication skills.Highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and solution-driven.
