Junior Store Manager

Require a Junior Store Manager at The Bengal Store in Jodhpur Park, Kolkata, who will be engaged in daily operations and team performance under the Management Cadre. The Bengal Store is a curated store dedicated to celebrating and preserving the rich heritage, traditional craftsmanship, and diverse cultural essence of Bengal through its unique collection of handcrafted products. His or her core mission will involve engaging with customers and provide them with the experience of such a store, supervising floor staff, maintaining aesthetics and functional standards of visual merchandising that reflect the brand's vision and target group. He or she will be responsible for managing and monitoring financial transactions, inventory management and interactive customer services along with providing customer insights to the management. The candidate must possess proficient computer skills to manage digital storefront operations and generate detailed online reports as and when required by the management. We are ideally looking for someone with good communication skill, elementary knowledge about heritage and cultural aspects of Bengal, fluency in Bengali and English and an ability to independently build and lead a team. A bachelor’s degree with an experience of 3-4 years in retail operations will be preferred.
