About UsSix Sense Mobility is a leading IoT solutions provider, designing and manufacturing innovative IoT devices for multiple OEM partners across various industries.Position OverviewWe are seeking a technically proficient Purchase Executive with a strong electronics background to join our procurement team. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise in electronics components and commercial acumen to manage vendor relationships, negotiate pricing, and ensure seamless procurement operations for our IoT manufacturing processes.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Functions: Analyze and understand Bill of Materials (BOM) for IoT devices and electronic assembliesEvaluate technical specifications of electronic components including microcontrollers, sensors, PCBs, connectors, passive components, and other hardware elementsAssess component specifications, datasheets, and technical feasibilityIdentify alternative components and suppliers while maintaining quality standardsCollaborate with engineering and R&D teams to optimize component selection based on cost and availabilityProcurement & Vendor Management:Source and evaluate vendors for electronic components and materialsNegotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliersDevelop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential vendorsConduct regular vendor assessments and performance reviewsManage multiple vendor quotations and comparisonsOperations & Follow-up:Track and expedite purchase orders to ensure timely deliveryCoordinate with vendors for order confirmations, shipping updates, and delivery schedulesHandle quality issues, returns, and replacements with vendorsMaintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and vendor communicationsMonitor inventory levels and coordinate with production planningCommercial Activities:Achieve cost reduction targets through strategic negotiationsAnalyze market trends and commodity price fluctuationsPrepare comparative statements and cost analysis reportsEnsure compliance with company purchasing policies and proceduresRequired QualificationsEducation:Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical fieldDiploma in Electronics with relevant experience will also be consideredExperience:0-2 years of experience in technical procurement, preferably in electronics/IoT manufacturingHands-on experience with BOM analysis and electronic component sourcingProven track record in vendor management and price negotiationsTechnical Skills:Strong understanding of electronic components, PCB assemblies, and hardware systemsAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, BOMs, and datasheetsKnowledge of quality standards for electronic componentsFamiliarity with electronics supply chain and component lifecycleCommercial & Soft Skills:Excellent negotiation and communication skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesProficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and procurement softwareAbility to multitask and manage multiple vendors simultaneouslyDetail-oriented with strong organizational skills.What We OfferOpportunity to work with cutting-edge IoT technologyCollaborative work environment with cross-functional teamsCareer growth opportunities in a growing organizationCompetitive compensation package
