Remote Criminal Appeals Attorney – Contract or Part-Time PositionOur firm is seeking an attorney with strong legal-writing skills to assist with drafting work in criminal-appeals and post-conviction matters. This position is fully remote and focuses on preparing research-based drafts for review by senior attorneys. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys written advocacy and wants to contribute to meaningful appellate and post-conviction litigation without handling in-court appearances.About the RoleThe attorney will prepare draft briefs, memoranda, and related filings in criminal-appeals and post-conviction cases. Assignments may include direct appeals, post-conviction petitions, state habeas applications, and federal habeas corpus filings.
