Senior Associate - General Corporate Law

Area: General Corporate – PE, VC, M&A Job Description: We are looking to hire highly motivated and skilled Senior Associates for a top tier law firm based in Delhi for their General Corporate practice. The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in Private Equity (PE), Venture Capital (VC), and Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) transactions. You will work closely with senior partners and clients on complex domestic and cross-border deals, corporate structuring, shareholder agreements, due diligence, and investment documentation. Key Responsibilities: Lead and support corporate transactions including PE/VC funding and M&A deals Draft and negotiate transaction documents Conduct and supervise legal due diligence Advise clients on company law, FEMA, SEBI, and related regulatory frameworks Liaise with stakeholders including investors, promoters, in-house legal, and financial advisors Mentor junior team members (for Principal Associate level) Requirements: LLB from a reputed law school 4–7 years of post-qualification experience Strong background in PE, VC, and M&A transactions Excellent legal drafting and client advisory skills Clear and confident communication; ability to manage client relationships independently Prior experience at a Tier 1 or Tier 2 law firm is a plus
