We are looking for a skilled and proactive Patent Associate to join our team and drive our intellectual property initiatives, protecting our innovations and ensuring a strong IP strategy. Position Summary: The Patent Associate will play a key role in managing and developing our IP portfolio, particularly for AI-driven products in the fields of traffic monitoring, driver monitoring road safety, and real-time data analytics. This position requires an individual with a strong technical background in AI, along with solid expertise in intellectual property law and patent management. The Patent Associate will work closely with engineering and product development teams to identify patentable inventions, draft patent applications, oversee filings, and manage IP compliance. Key Responsibilities: Patent Search and Drafting, Patent Prosecution and Filings, Competitive Analysis, IP Portfolio Management, Documentation and Reporting, International Filing and Support, drafting case pleadings, and memoranda, attending client meetings, and appearing before the Indian IP office and providing assistance in Court proceedings, whenever required. Qualifications (Mandatory) Engineering/Science Degree (Software, AI, Computer Science, or any related field)- from a reputed University Patent Agent Exam qualified LL.B. degree, with a specialization or coursework in Intellectual Property Law. PQE- 2-3 Years as a Patent Analyst, Patent Attorney or Patent Engineer at reputed organization Excellent research and writing skills Proven experience with patent drafting, filing, and prosecution processes, especially in jurisdictions like the USPTO, EPO, and Indian Patent Office. Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
