National Film Development Corporation of India, a Government of India Enterprise under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting is the central agency established to encourage the good cinema movement in the country. The primary goal of the NFDC is to plan, promote and organize an integrated and efficient development of the Indian film industry and foster excellence in cinema. Over the years NFDC has provided a wide range of services essential to the growth of Indian cinema. The NFDC (and its predecessor the Film Finance Corporation) has so far funded / produced over 300 films. These films, in various Indian languages, have been widely acclaimed and have won many national and international awards. The corporation invites application for the post of HEAD – INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY with the following job details.Role Responsibilities:Key responsibilities of the role include:Seeking a strategic technology leader to drive end-to-end digital transformation including complete website management (design, development, hosting, compliance), product management for digital platforms and applications, systematic digitalization of all departments through automation and paperless initiatives, digital media strategy and execution, comprehensive IT infrastructure management (cloud, servers, networking, security), office management systems (e-Office, HRMS, ERP, inventory), and team leadership of technology professionals. The role requires managing multiple concurrent projects, ensuring government compliance (GIGW, GeM procurement, cyber security protocols), establishing strategic technology partnerships, and delivering measurable outcomes including 99.9% system uptime, 90%+ digital adoption, and operational cost reduction.Implementing IT for digitizing existing processes, understandingUser requirements, Team Management, adept with emerging and new technologies.Educational Qualification: M. Tech/ME/MCA/MSc in Computer Science from a recognized Institute/University.Experience:12 years of experience in Computer Technology/ Digital Media/ Product Management/ Websites Management in which minimum 8 years relevant experience in a senior managerial position in a reputed private or public sector undertaking/Govt. organization.Remuneration:- Consolidated pay of Rs. 1,50,000/- per month all inclusive.For more details please go through the NFDC Contractual Advertisement or refer careers page in the NFDC Website.
