You will work on a product real businesses depend on daily — and your decisions will directly shape how modules behave.What this role isYou won't just code screens. You will understand why a system should behave a certain way, translate business logic into reliable software, and own the behaviour of the modules you build — not just deliver tickets.You will work across workflow-driven modules, internal coordination systems, communication automation, data and validation logic, APIs consumed by mobile apps, and the application of Gen AI to business communication and operations.You will be working with proprietary DLLs and architecture and an existing codebase — understanding inherited code and building confidently on top of it is a core part of this jobTwo tracks you will work onGainbooks (greenfield): A modern .NET Web API and mobile-connected platform. New modules, new logic, new integrations. You define how things work from scratch.Saral modernisation: A 30-year-old DOS/legacy ERP being migrated to a application. You will work with real business workflows — billing, inventory, accounting — and convert proven logic into maintainable, modern code.Working with AI — our expectationWe expect you to use AI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or whatever works for you) as a regular part of your workflow. Generating boilerplate, scaffolding modules, writing test cases, looking up patterns — use AI freely for all of it.That said: AI writes code you are responsible for. You must be conceptually strong enough to read AI-generated code critically — catch logic errors, spot security issues, question data flow, and refuse to ship something you do not understand.
