The ideal candidate is a hands-on security practitioner, capable of operating at both engineering and operational levels, with experience supporting CISO-led initiatives, audits, and enterprise security programs.Key ResponsibilitiesSOC Operations (L2 / Engineering Support)Perform security alert monitoring, triage, and investigation (SOC Analyst – L2 Triage)Work with SIEM and EDR platforms, including:FortiSIEMMicrosoft Sentinel / DefenderCrowdStrikeSOCRadar (Digital Risk / DWM)Analyze network traffic and endpoint telemetry to identify threats, anomalies, and attack patterns.Support incident response, root cause analysis, and preventive control improvements.Vulnerability Management (End-to-End Ownership)Own and manage the Vulnerability Management Program (VMS) using open-source tooling.Design and implement VMS pipelines using tools such as:OpenVASNucleiNiktoOWASP ZAPHands on VMS tools like Qualys and Rapid7Drive end-to-end vulnerability lifecycle management:Discovery, validation, prioritization, remediation tracking, and closure.Coordinate with engineering, infrastructure, and application teams to remediate vulnerabilities.Implement automated rescanning and reporting to ensure previously identified vulnerabilities are fixed and verified.Review, interpret, and drive remediation of VA & Penetration Testing reports.Perform security architecture and design reviews for cloud and enterprise applications.Automation & Security EngineeringDevelop and maintain Azure Automation runbooks or similar for routine security operations and incident response.Drive security automation across:Threat detectionResponse workflowsCompliance validationVulnerability scanning and reportingAudit, Risk & ComplianceSupport and drive SOC audit management, including SOC 2 Type II audit exercises.Provide audit evidence, control mapping, and remediation support in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures.Actively contribute as part of the CISO / Security Leadership team.Required Skills & ExperienceDeep hands-on experience with Azure cloud security and Microsoft security services.Strong understanding of:OS fundamentalsNetwork security (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS)Cloud security architectureProven experience in SOC operations, alert triage, and incident handling.Strong hands-on experience with Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing lifecycle.Experience working with SIEM, EDR, and threat intelligence platforms.Familiarity with NIST, CIS, Microsoft Cloud Security Benchmark.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.
