The role involves ensuring smooth execution, monitoring, and optimization of batch processes in a 24x7 support environment.Key ResponsibilitiesBatch Operations & Support (40%–60%)Perform batch job deployment, configuration, execution, and recoveryMonitor and ensure successful completion of batch processesTroubleshoot and resolve batch-related issuesSolutioning & Optimization (20%–30%)Participate in solution discussions for new batch requirementsLeverage platform capabilities to optimize operational efficiency and automationApplication Deployment (10%–20%)Support application deployments and production releasesAssist in project cutovers and environment patching24x7 Support & Incident ManagementProvide on-call support as per rosterRespond to production incidents, service requests, and urgent deploymentsEnsure all activities follow established processes and SLAsRequirementsDiploma or Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field3+ years of experience in batch operations support or similar roleExperience with:ActiveBatch or similar job scheduler toolsGoAnywhere or similar SFTP/file transfer platformsFamiliarity with Windows, Unix, and Linux environmentsBasic knowledge of Shell scripting, SQL, or automation concepts Disclaimer: The company is committed to ensuring the privacy and security of your information.
